Hello everyone!

Hope you all had a great summer! 😉      

First of all, I’d like to express how excited I am to join the St. Michael’s family.  Yes, I’m the new NET for the coming year, and I’ll be teaching the PLP-r Programme to the Primary 1 to 3 students. My name is Florence Wong.

I’m a…what people call “BBC”…that is, British-Chinese and I come from Birmingham, UK.  

I really like children, hence teaching young children was always on my to-do list. Becoming an English teacher here in Hong Kong gave me the opportunity to combine what I like with a meaningful career.

In my time here at St. Michael’s, I would love to see the students learn to like English as I do. I hope to create a fun and encouraging atmosphere for them to learn, as well as helping students tackle their problems in the subject.

I believe that enjoying what one is doing can make a significant difference in learning. I enjoy teaching young children, and in turn I have learnt a lot from them. I look forward to teaching the students here at St. Michael’s and I hope the students will enjoy learning from me too.
